SCL-61 Battery-powered Pipe-section-mounted Ultrasonic Flowmeter |
| |
The meter works on ¡°velocity-difference¡± principle and is specifically designed for urban |
| |
water supply pipeline network and dwelling houses. Its use can effectively overcome the |
| |
knotty problems encountered in the use of a conventional water meter (a conventional water |
| |
meter can only detect a higher flowrate and remains inactive to a small flowrate). The meter |
| |
is also applicable to various industrial applications. |
| |
It operates with ultrasonic flow measuring technology without any moving mechanical parts, |
| |
and is high in reliability, less in maintenance work and no pressure loss is incurred. |
| |
The meter is designed to operate with a micro-power consumption, and can be powered by |
| |
either battery£¨a single battery can enable the meter to work continuously for a period of over 6 |
| |
years £©or 2-wire system (Battery stand-by) |
|
| |
It is sensitive to an initial flowrate as low as 0.005 m/s and high in measuring accuracy. |
It is provided with various output functions. For instance, the GSM radio transmission function can be used to form a water fee control system for |
| monitoring the working status of water meters. |
Single-path, 2-path and 4-path working patterns are available for selection. |
The meter has 3 versions in design ¨C normal, 2-way and anti-theft versions to better cater to the specific needs of users. |
The 2-way version can measure a pipe flow in both directions and record the cumulative running time in this case. The model of this version is |
| indicated by adding a suffix (D) behined that of a common version. |
The anti-theft version has the function to prevent anybody from making free use of water by unfair means. The cumulative water flowrate indicated |
| is the sum of the absolute instantaneous flowrates of water flowing in both forward and backward directions, making it impossible for anybody to gain |
| economic advantage through illicit use of water without pay. The model of this meter version is designated by adding a suffix (A) behined that of a |
| common version. |
All the technical data given herein area those of the general type of the flowmeter, yet they are also applicable to the 2-way and anti-theft versions. |
The meter conforms to the Standard on Ultrasonic Flowmeter for Water Supply and Drainage Applications CJ/T 3063-1997. |
The meter is inspected and calibrated in conformity with the Standard on Ultrasonic Flowmeter Calibration Procedure JJG 0002-94. |
